My family visited Monterey for the 1st time and found Tarpy's with great reviews. Great outdoor atmosphere with covid restrictions, awesome food, and intimate feel. Nick was very passionate and caring. He treated us like family. Salmon, Angus burgers, and salad were flawless. Great for families!😊

A pretty and romantic spot. Perfect for current conditions as they are only serving outside in the courtyard. Highly recommend the meatloaf. Their specialty and it is true comfort food. pricey but worth it! Great wine list too.

Love the outside sitting, watching the planes go by. The food is amazing. Had the deviled eggs and the meatloaf. Highly recommend. My absolute favorite place to eat.

Excellent food. I ordered the wood fire salmon.. and my kids ordered the sirloin steak. Everything on the plate was delicious. Also tried the calamari for appetizers.👍👍

4.5 stars we usually come here once a year when we travel to/from LA. My first visit was excellent! They cooked the best steak on that trip, too bad I didn't have a photo. It was crusty outside, perfectly soft medium rare inside. This last visit on July 6, 19 - the food was just okay. Nothing's really wowed me. I usually like briskets, but this dish was just okay here. The apple salad was too acidic. And I have had the better artichokes along the coast.The service was great. When we told we were in a hurry, the food was quickly served.

Birthday Celebration. Little bit of a mix up, though corrected quickly. Our small party of four shared an appetizer of ribs. Very delicious. Maple glazed pork chop and grits very tasty as well as the Shrimp and grits. Beet salad and Steak and Eggs was ordered as an entree and the Burger all done well.

This place was spectacular. The service is great and the good is delicious!! Rib eye was so tender and juicy. That pretzel was the best! Definitely worth the try.

Nice location. Fun to watch the planes fly overhead as we sat outside appropriately social distanced from each table. We had non alcoholic drinks, guava lemonade was very tasty. We enjoyed the apple salad to start though Bavarian pretzel was calling our name. Main dishes were BBQ Chicken and NY Steak. Both included the gruyere infused scalloped potatoes which were very delicious. We were pretty full by the end, though the cheesecake looked really good. The service was top notch all the way through. We recommend Tarpy's for a special occasion or really any day of the week.

The attention to detail is wonderful here! Service, food and cocktails are spot-on. Casual enough for everyday, but intimate enough for special occasions. Always a great choice!

It was our anniversary and we had a great time. Masks are required with COVID-19. Tables are spaced, and you should make a reservation. It is a small menu with limited items. Still we had a great time and the food was so much I asked for a box to go with my full order or ribs.

Always a pleasure to dine here. Amy was very attentive.

Amazing restaurant!!! Wonderful dining experience. Nick is the best waiter!! The food was amazing, the patio is gorgeous. I can’t say enough wonderful things about this restaurant.

My wedding party went there after the wedding. Food was great service not so good. They took along time with the food and bearly refilled the drinks. The waiters did not even tell us congratulations.
